Brianna is a native of Visalia, California. She graduated from Mt. Whitney High School in Visalia as a 3 sport letter winner. She played basketball and softball at the College of the Sequoias in 1996. In both years Brianna played under the coaching of now head softball coach Staci Mosher. In 1997 transferred to West Hills to continue playing under Coach Mosher. She graduated with her Associates of Arts degree from West Hills Community College in 1998.

In 1999, Brianna transferred to California State University Bakersfield as a walk on to the softball team. She earned a scholarship in here second year of play as an outfielder for the Roadrunners.

Brianna graduated from CSUB in 2001 with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and a minor in Physical Education. She continues to play competitive softball in ASA women's leagues in the Valley.
